About Maa-Sanctuary
MAA means Mother.
MAA Sanctuary is a divine space where rescued animals are protected, loved, and honored as living souls. Rooted in compassion, seva, and nonviolence, our sanctuary offers a peaceful home for animals and a heart-opening experience for every visitor.
Founded in 2016, this Colorado farm began with the founder Biral’s deep love for animals and the joy she finds in giving them a safe home and a better life. What started as a passion has grown into a thriving sanctuary spanning over 20 acres. In the summer months, the land produces an abundance of fresh produce such as kale, cucumbers, watermelon, and herbs of every kind you can imagine.
